Norman North (OK) point guard Trae Young, the No. 12 prospect in 2017, will not sign during the early signing period.
One of the nation's top point guards will take his time with the recruiting process. Norman North (OK) guard Trae Young will not sign during the early period in November, according to multiple reports.
Young's decision was first reported by Evan Daniels, Scout's Director of Basketball Recruiting.

The No. 12 prospect in 2017, Young told ESPN's Jeff Borzello, "Just want to be able to watch these teams play and see how these teams play, as well as see who will be there when I get on campus."
Young is currently en route to an official visit at Texas Tech this weekend.

The 6-foot-2 floor general is also considering Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Kansas, and Washington.
