The Chris Vontoure Spartan Classic is in its 29th year of bringing the best boys high school basketball teams from California's Bay Area and beyond together for a three-day tournament at De La Salle High School. This year's event will be held from Thursday, Dec. 8 to Saturday, Dec. 10, and features a bracket-style format consisting of 12 games. The winners will advance in the championship rounds, while losers battle it out in the consolation bracket.
The tournament returns last year's finalists, Regis Jesuit (Aurora, Colorado) and Serra High School (San Mateo, CA), in addition to 2016 California Open Division state runner-up and tournament host De La Salle.
The Chris Vontoure Spartan Classic partnered with FloHoops this year to provide live coverage of every game, archived video, and more exclusive content from nationally recognized teams and athletes. Catch all of the action and become a FloPRO member today!

Fairfield High School (Fairfield, CA)
Serra High School (San Mateo, CA)
St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA)
Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)
St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA)
Regis Jesuit High School (Aurora, CO)
James Logan High School (Union City, CA)
De La Salle was one game away from a championship season in March, losing to a star-studded Chino Hills team. This year, the Spartans are hungrier than ever to take back first place in their own tournament.
If there wasn't top-notch competition waiting for Regis Jesuit in the Bay Area, head coach Ken Shaw wouldn't make the trip. Despite losing seven seniors from last year's tournament champion team, Regis Jesuit is looking to return this year with a strong cohort of juniors to defend its title. St. Patrick-St. Vincent opens its season with this game, while Regis Jesuit will enter with three games under its belt.
SEMIFINALS: Friday, Dec. 9, 6:30 PM, 8 PM
CHAMPIONSHIP: Saturday, Dec. 10, 5:30 PM
