The College Basketball Invitational begins its four day path to the tournament championship today as eight of the 16 teams are in action in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

The first games of the day begin at 11 a.m. EST with tournament favorite and No. 1 seed Indiana State facing USC Upstate at the Ocean Center. 

This is the 15th time the event has been held and past champions include Oregon State in 2009, Oregon in 2011 and Pittsburgh in 2012. Last year’s champion was UNC Wilmington.

How To Watch The 2023 CBI Basketball Tournament 

The 2023 College Basketball Invitational will stream on FloHoops and the FloSports App from March 18-20. After the first 12 games of the tournament, the semifinals and the final championship game will be on ESPN 2 on March 21 and March 22.

What Is The CBI Basketball Tournament?

The College Basketball Invitational is in its 15th year and serves as another postseason opportunity for teams that missed the NCAA Tournament. 

The 2023 CBI will be a single-elimination, fully-bracketed men’s basketball postseason tournament featuring 16 teams from across the country competing for a championship in Florida. The field will consist of teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament.
