The UConn Women's Basketball team looks to add its record books in 2023-2024. The Huskies schedule includes a trip to the Cayman Islands Classic.
The UConn Women’s Basketball team is once again expected to compete for the NCAA Championship this spring as the Huskies are likely to enter the season among the highest-ranked teams in the country.
UConn finds itself in the top five of most “way-too-early” polls, which isn’t anything new for the most dominant basketball program since the turn of the century. UConn has won 11 national championships since 1995, including four titles in a row from 2013 to 2016.

But the Huskies are coming off an oddly down, for them, season. The 2023 NCAA Tournament snapped a 14-year run of Final Four appearances as UConn was eliminated in the Sweet 16 by Ohio State, 73-61.
This year, the Huskies return star Paige Bueckers, who missed 2022-2023 with an injury.
UConn’s schedule is typically tough, and this season is no different. Along with a slate of high-profile non-conference games such as the Dec. 3 showdown with Texas, the Huskies are also heading to the Cayman Island Classic.

When Is The BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament?
BIG EAST Teams will compete for the automatic qualifier for the 2024 NCAA Tournament beginning March 8 in Uncasville, Conn. The BIG EAST Tournament Championship Game is March 11.
When Is The 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament?
Selection Sunday is March 17, 2024 for the NCAA Women’s Tournament. The first four will tip-off on March 20, with the round of 64 beginning on March 22.
