The Campbell women’s basketball team returns 10 players from last year, their final run in the Big South. The Camels were 16-15 overall during the 2022-2023 season and 10-8 in conference play, which landed them third in the Big South standings.
As the No. 3 seed for the 2023 Hercules Tires Big South Women’s Basketball Championship, Campbell earned a first-round bye. The Camels topped Longwood in the quarterfinals, before bowing out against High Point in the semifinals.

The Campbell women are led by Ronny Fisher, a three-time Big South Coach of the Year, who’s in his eighth season with the Camels. During his time as head coach, Campbell is averaging 19 wins per season.
