The preseason rankings highlight strong representation from the Southeastern Conference and Big Ten.

South Carolina tops the poll with 745 points, followed by USC and Texas, representing the Big Ten and SEC. Iowa State makes a notable jump into the top 10, while Oklahoma and Kansas State bolster the Big 12’s presence. 

North Carolina State and Notre Dame hold steady, representing the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The rankings demonstrate a balance of power across conferences, with the SEC and Big Ten securing prominent spots in the top five heading into the new season.
