There’s no question the LSU women’s basketball team is a perennial powerhouse, and FloHoops subscribers will get a close-up look at what the Tigers are all about for the 2024-2025 season.

LSU will play Washington on Nov. 25 (1:30 p.m. Eastern), just after Southern and North Carolina State meet at 11 a.m. EST. 

The losers of those games will play Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. EST, and the winners will play for the championship the same afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

After winning the NCAA Division I national championship in 2023 with a victory over Iowa in the title game, LSU fell short in its bid for back-to-back titles. The Tigers fell to Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the Elite Eight. The Hawkeyes advanced to the final again but lost to South Carolina.

The Tigers are beginning the new season ranked No. 7 on the preseason AP Coaches Poll and led by three key starters from last year’s squad – Flau’jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow and Mikaylah Williams.

LSU finished the 2023-2024 season 31-6 overall and 13-3 in SEC play. The Tigers fell to South Carolina in the final of the women’s SEC Tournament (79-72).
