The LSU women’s basketball team will spend part of its Thanksgiving break at the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship. When do the Tigers play?

The LSU women’s basketball team knows what it takes to win it all, and after winning the Division I Women’s Basketball Championship in 2023, the Tigers fell agonizingly short of reaching the pinnacle again in 2024.

The team’s redemption tour officially gets underway against Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 4, and the road to the Final Four again will make a stop in the Bahamas, where the Tigers will be part of the four-team 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship during the week of Thanksgiving. 

LSU will play Washington on Nov. 25 (1:30 p.m. Eastern) and then will meet either North Carolina State or Southern in the championship or consolation game Nov. 27.

LSU’s title defense last year ended in the Elite Eight at the hands of Caitlin Clark and eventual national runner-up Iowa, which lost the title game to South Carolina.

The Tigers will be back in full force for the 2024-2025 season and enter the year ranked No. 7 on the preseason AP Coaches Poll. 

Personnel-wise, the team returns a talented core of starters who landed on multiple preseason watchlists and on the All-SEC Preseason Team – Flau’jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow (first team) and Mikaylah Williams (second team). 

LSU finished the 2023-2024 season 31-6 overall and 13-3 in SEC play. The Tigers fell to South Carolina in the final of the women’s SEC tournament (79-72).
