When Does NC State Play At The Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship?

The NC State women also are on a bit of a redemption tour, and that’ll take them through the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in the Bahamas.

The North Carolina State women’s basketball team began 2024-2025 on Nov. 5 by unveiling the Final Four banner the squad earned last season.

It was a dream run that included beating top-seeded Texas to reach the Final Four for the second time overall and first time since 1998. Unfortunately, that’s where the ride ended for the Wolfpack, who then lost to eventual national champion South Carolina. 

So, while there is reason to celebrate, the new season also should mark the start of the redemption tour for NC State, as simply reaching the Final Four is not the ultimate goal.

Part of the journey will take the team to the Bahamas, where the Wolfpack will be among the four-teams at the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship. The event is being held Nov. 25-27 at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau.

NC State, ranked No. 9 in the preseason AP Coaches Poll, will play Southern University on Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. Eastern and then will meet either No. 7 LSU or Washington in the championship or consolation game Nov. 27. 

The latter two teams will play Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m. EST with a spot in the final on the line.
