The North Carolina State women’s basketball team is coming off a magical season that included its first Final Four appearance since 1998. 

The quest to improve on that performance begins Nov. 5, and the journey will take the Wolfpack through the Bahamas, where they’ll be among the four teams competing in the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship. 

The event is being held Nov. 25-27 at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau, and all of the action will be broadcast live on FloHoops.

NC State, ranked No. 9 in the preseason AP Coaches Poll, will play Southern University on Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. Eastern, while No. 7 LSU and Washington take the court at 1:30 p.m. EST.

The losers of those games will play Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. EST, and the winners will play for the championship the same afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

Three starters and eight players overall return for the Wolfpack, who finished last season with an overall record of 31-7 and a 17-1 mark in ACC play. 

NC State was tied for second place in the regular-season ACC standings and fell to Norte Dame in the final of the ACC Tournament. The Wolfpack’s season came to an end against eventual national champion South Carolina in the Final Four, 78-59.
