Led by five returning players, including two starters, from last year’s Elite Eight season, the Oregon State women’s basketball team is headed to the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Women's Championship, which will be held at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau, Bahamas, from Nov. 25-27.

The Beavers improved mightily from the previous season and cruised into last year’s Elite Eight, where they fell victim to eventual national champion South Carolina. 

In the Bahamas, OSU now will get a shot at the team sitting right behind South Carolina in the latest AP Coaches Poll, the UConn Huskies. 

Oregon State and UConn will take the floor Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, just after Ole Miss and Boston College meet at 5 p.m. ET. All of the action will be broadcast live on FloHoops.

The losing teams on Nov. 25 will face off in the consolation game Nov. 27 at 5 p.m., and the winning teams from the opening round will meet at 7:30 p.m. ET to play for the tournament championship.

Oregon State finished last season with a 27-8 record and 12-6 mark in Pac-12 play. The year prior, OSU was 13-18 overall and 4-14 in conference games.

For the 2024-2025 season, OSU will play in the West Coast Conference and has been selected by the WCC coaches to finish fourth in the WCC this season. The move comes after a mass departure from the Pac-12 left only Oregon State and Washington State in the conference.
