Washington State women's basketball will participate in the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout. Currently, the Cougars are 2-3 on the season, with the last game resulting in a loss to the No. 22 Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team, 72-43.

The tournament will be held from November 27-30. Washington State plays its first game against Norfolk State at 4:00 ET, plays Virginia on Day 2, and plays Drake on the final day. The action will all be on FloHoops and FloCollege

This will be the third time this tournament will happen. Last year, West Virginia swept through the competition, winning all three games. Washington State was 21-15 last season and made it to the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament, making it to the semifinals.
