The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team will compete in the Cayman Islands Classic Games. Norte Dame will be the highest-ranked team in the tournament, coming in at No. 3 after a huge road win last week over then No. 3 USC, 74-61, in its last game.

Sophomore guard Hannah Hidalgo won AP women's basketball player of the week thanks to her exceptional performance against the Trojans, with 24 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and five steals. Hidalgo also made history by becoming the first Division I women's basketball player in the last 25 years to record at least 20 points, five assists, rebounds, and steals.

When the tournament occurs from November 28-30, Notre Dame plays its first game against No. 17 TCU in a undefeated matchup at 5:00 p.m. ET and plays Utah on the last day. The action will all be on FloHoops.

This will be the second year the Cayman Islands Classic Games has a women's basketball tournament. LSU won the event last season after defeating the Virginia Cavaliers in a 76-75 nail-biter. Notre Dame was 29-7 last season, making it to the NCAA tournament before losing in the Sweet 16 to Oregon State.
