UConn women's basketball stays undefeated as they easily beat Oregon State 71-52 in their opening game of the 2024 Baha Mar Women's Championship in Nassau, Bahamas.

The Huskies advance to face No. 18 Ole Miss in the tournament final on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Paige Bueckers led UConn with 23 points, shooting 9-13 with 6 assists. Freshman Sarah Strong continues to look impressive as she added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Jana El Alfy added 12 points and Azzi Fudd contributed in her second game back from injury. 

AJ Marotte scored 17 points for Oregon State, but the Beavers struggled offensively and were unable to keep pace as UConn's defense and shooting from beyond the arc (10-29 on three-pointers) propelled them to an early lead.
