Alabama Women's Basketball Cruises To Title With Win Over Clemson, 73-39

Alabama women's basketball claimed the Bay Bracket title with a 73-39 win over Clemson. Zaay Green scored 17 points and the Tide defense stifled the Tigers.

Alabama women's basketball defeated Clemson WBB 73-39 to claim the Bay Bracket title at the 2024 Emerald Coast Classic.

The Crimson Tide's defense was suffocating, forcing 13 steals and blocking 4 shots while limiting the Tigers to just 25.5 percent shooting from the field. 

Zaay Green led the Tide with 17 points and 6 assists, while Sarah Ashlee Barker contributed 13 points and 5 steals. 

Clemson has certainly played better games, and looked up to the task at moments. Ultimately, the Tigers struggled offensively and were unable to overcome Alabama’s defensive pressure. 

The Tide capped off a dominant tournament performance and they will leave the Florida tournament undefeated and ranked No. 23 in the nation.
