No. 5 Texas Women's Basketball Starting To Take Off From New Mexico State

Just as it looked as if New Mexico State would push the Longhorns to the limit in the first half, Texas showed why it is the No. 5 ranked team.

Halftime is here, and New Mexico State has played well against No. 5 Texas women's basketball for most of the game despite the Longhorns' runs.

However, Texas's most recent run has pushed the lead by a wide margin. About two minutes ago, it was just a nine-point game, but that quickly turned into an 18-point game, which you can expect from one of the best teams in the NCAA.

The one thing that the Longhorns have had a problem with in this game has been the deep ball, as they are 1-6, but the Aggies are also not shooting the ball well, and that has not helped their case to get back in the game or even take the lead.

Watch how each team emerges from the locker room when the second half starts to dictate how the rest of the game will go.
