Mississippi State Women's Basketball Edges Out South Florida WBB
The Bulldogs needed a big second half to put them ahead of South Florida women's basketball to pull out a slim four-point win.
It was a close call for Mississippi State WBB, but the Bulldogs came out on top with a very close 59-55 victory.
South Florida WBB had the game under control in the first half, although it was tight the whole way. However, a second-half surge in the third quarter, when they claimed a late lead to end the quarter, ended up being all the team needed to finish off the game.

South Florida's Sammie Puisis was the game's leading scorer but couldn't get the win.
Mississippi State's Guards Jerkaila Jordan and Eniya Russell were the Bulldogs' leading scorers, with Jordan scoring 20 points, grabbing six rebounds, and totaling two assists. Russell had 10 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
