Now that UNCW men's basketball has completed the hard part in clinching an automatic bid to play in the NCAA tournament, it is time to relive one of the team's best moments of the season.
The most head-turning is when the Seahawks scored 143 points in one game over Mount Olive in their first game of the season.

It had to be one of the best examples of a perfect game. UNC Wilmington could not seem to miss, finishing the game shooting nearly 70 percent from the field and 54 percent from behind the line.
Many records were in jeopardy that night, as the Seahawks scored 81 points in the first half alone, and Mount Olive scored 91 for its game total. The final score was 48 points different.
Although it would be extremely challenging and highly unlikely, if UNC Wilmington can come anywhere close to that performance in the tournament, they could spoil a favorite's chance at a national championship.
