All-Jayhawk Invitational Team
Amid a stout field of talented players, we've finally completed the lofty task of compiling the All-Jayhawk Invitational Team!

To ensure we highlighted the cream of the crop, we reviewed game film to assemble an all-star team of the 17u division.

G: Tre Jones, Howard Pulley
The younger brother of Tyus Jones showed the world should start recognizing his game. In comparison to Tyus, Tre is more of an all-around point-guard and contributes in almost every statistical category. Whenever he played defense in tournament play, Tre gathered steals, fast-break buckets and assists with gusto.
Currently has offers from Arizona, Baylor, Duke and Minnesota.

SG/SF: Gary Trent Jr., Howard Pulley
The highest-rated prospect in this tournament, Trent Jr. demonstrated his value and then some on the court. There were moments when he completely took over games, including a 28-point performance in the semifinals.
Currently has offers from Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State, and more.

SG: Mitch Ballock, KC Run GMC
While down to TNE in the 17u semifinals, Ballock corralled his team. Even though the game ended in defeat for KC Run GMC, Ballock made sure his team didn’t lose its cool and ensured his teammates stuck to the game plan. Creighton got a steal with this commitment.
Committed to Creighton

SG: Junub Char, TNE
We didn’t see this kid much, but when we did, it was electric. Against KC Run GMC, there was no answer for his athleticism. His game reminds us of Matt Barnes—an enforcer that can shoot threes and get in the heads of his opponents.

PF: Theo John, Howard Pulley
John was a force to be reckoned with on the glass, and used his strength to out-body his competition. He was definitely a contributing factor in the Panthers' Jayhawk Invitational championship run.
Currently has offers from Minnesota, Nebraska, Marquette, and Texas Tech.

You can watch Howard Pulley and KC Run GMC at the Howard Pulley Invitational on FloHoops, May 6-8.
