FloHoops has selected their All-Howard Pulley Invitational team.
The lights are off for the Howard Pulley Invitational. With Gary Trent Jr. and Bol Bol not participating, that opened the door for others to shine. We looked through hours of 17u game film and we’ve put together the FloHoops All-Howard Pulley Invitational team.
G: Brad Davison, Howard Pulley
Brad Davison currently has offers from Davidson, Nebraska and other mid-major schools. After this showing, he should be receiving high-profile D1 offers. Davison averaged near 20 points a game, 5 assists, and two steals
G: Tre Jones, Howard Pulley
Is there anything he can’t do? Tre Jones did everything his team needed him to be on both sides of the ball. It seemed that every other possession Jones had gotten a steal. This kid is going to do wonders at the next level.
G/F: D’shawn Schwartz, KC Run GMC
For weeks, we’ve heard about Creighton-commit Ballock and Bol Bol, but what about Schwartz? D’shawn (make sure to use a lower-case ‘s’) really performed for his team. Knocking down big shots, playing great defense and more.
PF: Daniel Oturu, Howard Pulley
Oturu has really been developing his outside game and it went to good use for the Panthers. Oturu was hitting 3’s, catching alley-oops, and was a force on the glass. This c/o PF is going to be a steal for whomever offers him.
PF: Theo John, Howard Pulley
John showed the world what it means to be a part of the “Swat Team.” The Panthers PF averaged almost 3 blocks a game. With each thunderous stop, the crowd went into a frenzy.
Performance of Note
G: Ryan Larson, Howard Pulley 16u
Larson had arguably the best statistical performance of the weekend. Larson dropped 18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 6 steals. That’s almost a quadruple-double! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Ryan.
