FloHoops is heading back to Kansas for the final live weekend in July.

The Jayhawk Summer Finale is the second and final tournament in the Jayhawk Tourney series. Earlier this summer, FloHoops broadcasted the Jayhawk Invitational where Howard Pulley claimed the title in the 17u division. The Summer Finale puts a bang on the end of another AAU season by KC Run GMC of the Under Armour Association.

The top teams from the Midwest will tip-off from the Drive 5 Complex in Overland Park, Kansas. These teams include the hosts, KC Run GMC, and St. Louis Eagles.

FloHoops’ followers have become well-acquainted with Run GMC. They have competed in the Jayhawk Invitational and the Howard Pulley Invitational. Placing third and second, respectively. Run GMC is led by their head coach LJ Goolsby, who’s tenure includes coaching numerous USA Basketball squads. In addition to their coach, Run GMC has sharpshooter Mitch Ballock (Creighton commit) as their undisputed leader. Ballock’s teammates include D’shawn Schwartz (#19 SF in the nation) and Bol Bol (Top-5 2018 Recruit).

From the Nike EYBL circuit are the St. Louis Eagles. The Eagles finished the EYBL regular season with an 11-5 record. Looking to end the season on a high-note, the Eagles are led by their athletic center, Jeremiah Tilmon (Illinois commit). Tilmon is the #24 recruit in the 2017 class.
