Junkanoo Jam Brings Buckets To The Bahamas
From one island to another, the tradition will continue in a new spot. The damage caused by Hurricane Matthew had to change the official location, but the Junkanoo Jam is still positioned to be a stellar women's college basketball event to watch from start to finish.

Featuring 2016 NCAA Tournament participants Georgia, Missouri, and South Florida, as well as several other emerging programs, the Bimini Islands in the Bahamas and Gateway Christian Academy will be the place to be on November 24-26.

The tournament, broadcasted live on FloHoops, features two separate brackets. The Freeport Division bracket features Dayton, Georgia Tech, Creighton, and Missouri, while the Lucaya Division will showcase Minnesota, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Florida.

If you can't make it, we will bring the VIP treatment to you. Here's how to WATCH the Junkanoo Jam.

FREEPORT DIVISION:

CREIGHTON BLUEJAYS
Head Coach: Jim Flanery
Record: 1-2
Leading Scorer: Myah Mellman (18.0 ppg.)

Despite losing to South Dakota State and Wichita State to begin their campaign, the Bluejays fought back to beat Drake at home to create a much-needed spark headed into the Junkanoo Jam. And while it hasn't been a great start, that momentum will be important, because Creighton's next opponent, Missouri, will be hard to top.

DAYTON FLYERS
Head Coach: Shauna Green
Record: 2-1
Leading Scorers: Jenna Burdette, Jayla Scaife (13.0 ppg.)

The Flyers head to the Bimini Islands fresh off a game with No. 3 UConn on Tuesday. But regardless of that outcome, taking out the likes of Wisconsin and Princeton are good steps to start the season. The key here is to find balance offensively and on a consistent basis, which will be challenged on Friday.

GEORGIA TECH YELLOW JACKETS
Head Coach: MaChelle Joseph
Record: 4-0
Leading Scorer: Zaire O'Neil (13.5 ppg.)

Not only did the Yellow Jackets knock off in-state rival Georgia to remain unbeaten just before the trip, Georgia Tech has also dominated the rest of its opening slate in impressive fashion. In fact, only Samford has scored over 50 points against this squad. And in these type of early-season tournaments, that can go a very long way.

MISSOURI LADY TIGERS
Head Coach: Robin Pingeton
Record: 2-1
Leading Scorer: Sophie Cunningham (15.0 ppg.)

The Lady Tigers fell out of the top 25 following a loss at Washington this past week, but to say this team is battle tested would be an understatement. It is hard to find another team in the country that has already played two games against Power 5 opponents on the road. A game Tuesday should be the perfect tune-up before heading to the Bahamas.

LUCAYA DIVISION:

GEORGIA LADY BULLDOGS
Head Coach: Joni Taylor
Record: 3-1
Leading Scorer: Caliya Robinson (16.3 ppg.)

Entering a tournament coming off a loss is never fun, especially when it was a battle between your in-state rival, but the Bulldogs are still a quality team and more than capable to recover quickly. As long as Caliya Robinson and Pachis Roberts continue to fill it up, expect a strong showing.

MINNESOTA LADY GOPHERS
Head Coach: Marlene Stollings
Record: 4-0
Leading Scorer: Carlie Wagner (23.5 ppg.)

The Lady Gophers are nothing to mess with. Wins against Georgetown, Seton Hall and at VCU, are already in the books, and the prospect of facing this team is scary right now. Carlie Wagner is having no problems scoring, and Kenisha Ball is putting up 18 points per game herself. Look out!

NORTH CAROLINA LADY TARHEELS
Head Coach: Sylvia Hatchell
Record: 3-0
Leading Scorer: Stephanie Watts (19.3 ppg.)

UNC is about to play its fourth game in Chapel Hill on Tuesday and has yet to experience any issues. So, what kind of team shows up away from home? Only time will tell, but Stephanie Watts and Paris Kea are good enough to make it happen anywhere, including the Bahamas.

SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS
Head Coach: Jose Fernandez
Record: 2-0
Leading Scorer: Kitija Laksa (16.5 ppg.)

The Bulls will be one of the better teams to follow but also the one with the least amount of experience this season. While several teams have played at least three games, South Florida just wrapped up its second on Monday night. A bit strange in terms of schedule, but there's no better spot to find the groove than in a big-time tournament.
