Bill Self's Stellar Success Abroad With Kansas
Kansas coach Bill Self boasts an impressive record in games played outside of the U.S. heading into the Jayhawks' four-game trip to Italy from July 31-August 8.
No matter if it is in historic Allen Fieldhouse or on the road, success has followed Bill Self everywhere he has been at the helm of Kansas. The 2017 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee even has an impressive resume abroad.
Heading into the Jayhawks' four-game tour in Italy next week, Self boasts a 17-2 record in exhibition games played outside of the United States since 2004. He has won games in Canada and Switzerland with KU and went 8-0 during the World University Games in South Korea in 2015.
With four games on the horizon in Rome and Milan, Self will look to get an early feel for next season's squad while piling more wins onto an already stellar record.
