According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, the 6-foot-7 wing from La Lumiere School (IN) remains on campus and has retained Miami attorney Jason Setchen in an effort to gain reinstatement by the NCAA.
Bowen was suspended indefinitely by the school last week after the FBI alleged that representatives from Adidas agreed to pay $100,000 to the family of a top recruit so he would attend Louisville.
Bowen, who was ranked the Flo40 No. 16 prospect for 2017, was never mentioned by name in the court documents but fits a description of a player in the investigation, according to multiple reports.
