Nearly 50 prospects committed to Division I programs from October 23-29 as the 2017 early singing period approaches.
As October winds down, the pressure rises for many programs to secure their future. With almost one week until the start of the early signing period, it is officially crunch time, if it hasn’t been already.
Despite being linked to the FBI’s investigation into college basketball, USC landed the biggest prize of week with the commitment of 2018 Flo40 No. 33 Elijah Weaver. Arkansas also made a nice splash by locking in Findlay Prep (NV) big man Reggie Chaney. Meanwhile, New Mexico got a sneaky good piece in University School (FL) point guard Drue Drinnon, and Duke continued its dominance with the commitment of 2019 Flo40 No. 22 Joey Baker.
