The CAA Women’s Basketball Tournament will be going down in Washington D.C from March 13-17 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. All 14 teams across the CAA will compete for a CAA Tournament Title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The 2024 CAA Women’s Championships are set to begin March 13-17 after the conclusion of conference play. The Coastal Athletic Association, formerly known as the Colonial Athletic Association, has hosted the CAA Women’s Basketball Tournament annually since 1984.

CAA Women’s Basketball teams have begun to establish positioning in the rankings, with Stony Brook (6-1) and North Carolina A&T (6-1) at the forefront entering February.

Calling the plays for the Hofstra women’s basketball team this season will be Danielle Santos Atkinson, who is entering her fifth season as coach. She has progressively improved her number of wins per season – 3, 8, 8 and 12, so she’s headed in the right direction.
