Keeping Up With The Joneses
In Minnesota, there is one name that will forever be etched in basketball lore: Jones.
From youth travel teams to local events to now the NBA, the Jones family has been taking over the North Star State for the past 30 years. And while the game has grown in their hometown of Apple Valley, MN, the name has flourished into something even bigger.
Tyus Jones, the middle brother of the Jones sibling trio and current Minnesota Timberwolves point guard, is known for his run of family firsts -- the first state title, the first NCAA national championship, the first to be drafted in the NBA -- while Tre Jones, the youngest brother and current 2018 Flo40 No. 5 prospect, has quietly developed his game to match his older brother.
Jadee, the eldest brother, trains them both -- together.
Entering his senior season at Apple Valley High School, Tre has emerged as the nation’s top point guard and recently chose to follow his brother’s footsteps to play at Duke next season.
The only question is: How high can the Jones trio climb up the history books?
Go inside the life of the family, the relentless work it takes to stay at the top of their games, and the grind to become true stars of their own in Keeping Up With The Joneses.
