Banner Year For Kansas? Devonte Graham Says It Can Be
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It might be a new year, but the forecast still remains the same. Like clockwork, Kansas has been unanimously picked to win the Big 12 men’s regular season championship for the fifth straight season by the league’s coaches.
For Devonte Graham, however, the 2016-17 campaign would not be complete with the Jayhawks winning an unprecedented 13th consecutive league title. The junior guard and preseason All-Big 12 selection, who was named the most outstanding player of the Big 12 Championship after averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.0 rebounds, has his eyes set on much more: a national championship.
Can it happen? Graham spoke with FloHoops’ Brett Regan at Big 12 Media Day on Tuesday at the Sprint Center about the chances of it being a banner season for Kansas.
