Westtown's Cameron Reddish Steals Show From Big Man Battle
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A certain buzz hit Suncoast Arena on Sunday afternoon that could not be ignored. It was contagious even. Everyone wanted to see what the future looked like with Flo40 No. 2 Deandre Ayton and No. 3 Mo Bamba set to battle in the Signature Series at the Culligan City of Palms Classic.
Turns out, though, it was neither of the senior 7-footers who did the most damage during No. 25 Westtown's 53-42 win over Hillcrest Prep. It was Flo40 junior Cameron Reddish.
While Ayton posted 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Bamba had six points and five rebounds, Reddish, the No. 4 prospect in 2018 had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists to steal the show. Arizona-bound Brandon Randolph had 13 points for the Moose.
