Oak Hill Floor General Matt Coleman Vying To Prove Doubters Wrong
TAMPA, FL — Nobody needs to remind Flo40 guard Matt Coleman he didn’t make either McDonald’s All-American team. The Oak Hill Academy (VA) floor general is fully aware. Now, he is out to prove that leaving him out was a big mistake.
Snubbed? Well, to Coleman, that’s an understatement. And if what the 6-foot-2 senior showed Saturday at the ARS Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest is a sign for what’s to come the rest of the season, opponents will have an even bigger problem on their hands.
Coleman, the No. 34 prospect in 2017, scored 15 points, played a stellar floor game, and led the No. 10 Warriors to a commanding 81-59 victory over St. Petersburg (FL).
He knocked down open jumpers.
Too quick to fight over the top of the screen. Too hot to go under. @mattcoleman2_ is feeling it early.

Don’t bother trying to motivate Coleman. He is already on a mission. And it appears this is just the beginning.
