Howard Pulley Mercy Rules KC Run GMC For Gold Bracket Title At Jayhawk Invitational

Howard Pulley (MN) didn’t need a buzzer beater or even late heroics in the Jayhawk Invitational 17s Gold Bracket championship game Sunday afternoon. The Panthers decided to save their best performance for last at Drive 5.

Playing in its third game of the day, Howard Pulley controlled host KC Run GMC (MO) and cruised to a 65-44 victory. By rule, the game was called with three minutes to play.

It’s not too common to see a team dominate like this, especially in a title game, but with the way Howard Pulley is playing, even going a perfect 6-0 without star Flo40 point guard Tre Jones this weekend, there’s no reason to think it won’t be near the top of the Nike EYBL standings moving forward.
