It doesn’t take long for anyone to notice the scoring prowess of Apple Valley (MN) point guard Tre Jones. The elite Flo40 floor general has a reputation of filling it up with the best of them.

Although his outside shot wasn’t falling at the Granite City Classic in St. Cloud, MN, on Dec. 30, the No. 5 prospect and Duke-bound leader found crafty ways to attack the basket and drop 20 points in an 80-69 loss to Cretin-Derham Hall.

This might not be the early start to the season Jones has wanted for his Eagles squad, but the defending state champions certainly have one of the best players in the nation to right the ship and make a repeat run.
