Interview with Oak Hill Academy's Strength and Conditioning Consultant, Micah Kurtz

Oak Hill Academy is one of the most successful programs in all of basketball. Many thanks to the great coaching staff at the Mouth of Wilson, Virginia prep school. One of the pivotal pieces of that staff is Assistant Men’s Coach, Bryan Meagher and Strength and Conditioning Consultant, Micah Kurtz.

Kurtz and Meagher work hand in hand and designed a vital strength and conditioning program for Head Coach Steve Smith and the Oak Hill Warriors. In addition to consulting for Oak Hill, Micah Kurtz is also the Director of the Strength and Conditioning at AC Flora High School in South Carolina. AC Flora just came off of a 3A State Championship.

We caught up with Kurtz at AC Flora and asked him a few questions. Ones including, what does consulting for a prep powerhouse entail, and why AC Flora?
