How High Can RM5 Elite's Tyrese Maxey Climb In The 2019 Flo40 Rankings?
Jun 16, 2017
Tyrese Maxey is already a star player. He’s arguably the top prospect in Texas already. He will certainly make a jump up in the new 2019 Flo40 rankings. The only question is how high can he rise?
Currently ranked No. 34 in the class, the 6-foot-3 guard from South Garland (Texas) boosted his stock even more in the Nike EYBL this spring, averaging 15.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists and leading RM5 Elite (Texas) to an at-large bid for Peach Jam next month.
Maxey, who has offers from Baylor, California, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, SMU, Stanford, TCU, and Texas A&M, among others, has quick handles, range on his jumper, and the ability to finish in traffic around the rim.
There is no doubt he is already on the rise, and his new ranking will reflect that. It’s just time to find out how high he can climb by the end of the summer.
If this spring is any indication, there will be no slowing Maxey down anytime soon.
